SYNOPSIS:

In the 2018 Farm Bill, Congress provided the USDA with funding to build Farm and Ranch Stress Assistance Networks in four regions: West, North Central, Northeast, and South. In this moderated discussion, two of the Principal Investigators for FRSAN Northeast and South provide their insights from developing collaborative networks to support farmers and farmworkers navigate stress. The moderator will lead the discussants in dialogue to reflect on the causes of farm stress, the historical patterns, and a way forward in constructing resilient agrarian communities.
