Sociology and the Study of Farm Stress

The Sociology of Agriculture and Food Research Interest Group of the Rural Sociological Society and the Southern Ag Exchange Network present two panelists discussing the role of social position in how farmers navigate farm stress. Namely, how farm structure and race shape farmer perceptions and economic security, impacting the risk factors for farm stress barriers to care in addressing farm stress, and strategies employed to cope with farm stress and persist. The panel will last one hour, with an introduction, two presentations and time for Q&A.
